13th Sunday in Ordinary Time – June 28th, 2026
Jesus is not asking for a divided heart. In today’s Gospel, He calls us to place Him above every attachment, even the deepest human relationships. This is a challenging message, because it reminds us that following Christ will always require a real choice. A vocation begins here: with the courage to say that Jesus is the center of my life, and that nothing else can take His place. Are you ready to let Christ be first in your heart?

11th Sunday in Ordinary Time – June 14th, 2026
"The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few." Jesus speaks these words after seeing the crowds who were "harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd." Priestly and religious vocations begin when a person allows his or her heart to be moved by the spiritual needs of others and asks, "Lord, how do you want me to serve?" Jesus first tells us to pray: "Ask [therefore] the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into his harvest." He then invites those who have received freely to give freely and make of their lives a gift to others. Listen attentively - perhaps in today's Gospel you will hear your name among those whom Christ is calling to be His apostles.

Body and Blood of Christ - June 7th, 2026
What if someone offered us a piece of Bread that, once consumed, might give us unending life? To be called to share this bread as a priest and/or Religious is a remarkable thing - and hopefully a consideration for many as they think about their vocation in life! May God help those called to share this bread with others to have the courage to say yes to their vocation. And may we all become one with someone who is so blessed, broken, and shared so that all who believe may have eternal life!

Pentecost Sunday – May 24th, 2026
The disciples in the Upper Room were paralyzed by fear. It was the presence of the Risen Christ and the gift of the Holy Spirit that transformed them. Pentecost announces that the Spirit does the same today. Many people hesitate to respond to a call to religious life because of fear: fear of the unknown, fear of sacrifice, fear of what others will think. But the Spirit was given precisely for this - to replace fear with the peace and courage of Christ. What fear is the Spirit asking you to surrender today?
